Hi, my name is
Penelope Pickrell.
(a.k.a poppy)
I’m Penelope “Poppy” Pickrell, 21, originally from Manila and now based in Barcelona. I grew up switching between English and Tagalog, and lately I’ve been adding Spanish into the mix (currently A2 level).
I’m in my final year of Fashion Marketing & Communication (BA Hons) at the University of Westminster’s joint program with IED Barcelona. This portfolio is my way of gathering the work, ideas, and experiences that have shaped me so far. A mix of student projects, creative experiments, and my first steps into the industry.
I like when things click into place — the way puzzle pieces suddenly make sense when you find the right fit. That’s how I see branding, events, and PR: details aligning to tell a bigger story.
I’m meticulous with small things, curious about the process, and excited by the moment when everything finally comes together. For me, the work isn’t just about creating something that looks good, but about building experiences that feel intentional, memorable, and connected.
